“The guide was a lovely man and provided good commentary on the social side of life in Kochi, e.g. local customs, popular sports, etc… However, we were disappointed with the lack of historical context provided on the places he showed us. He could really improve the tour greatly by sharing more about the history of Kochi and framing it within the wider colonial history of India. If you want to wander around and see some sights whilst chatting with a friendly local, this tour is fine for you, but I would not recommend if you are looking for historical information.”
